Technologies

Liferay 7.3.4 GA 5,OneID, Azure SQL Server, Elastic Search Server, Logic Monitor (Monitoring Tool), Azure File Share (for D&M)

Requirements:

  1. User and Role Management: For employees of external suppliers as well as Boots, the portal will include a variety of functions. Users will be assigned roles, which will control their authorization in the site.
  2. Integration: Data for the portal is highly reliant on external services. To power business processes in the site, it will integrate with SAP Enterprise Central Component (ECC), Promotion Management & Retail (PMR), and the Enterprise Application Programming Interface (eAPI). Additionally, the portal will provide PMR with fund-related data, causing offers to be triggered farther down the downstream business process. In order to support reporting and downstream process requirements, data will also be delivered to BW and GDH.
  3. Nomination formsThere are different types (Retro and Fixed Fee) of nomination forms that will be managed in the portal. Each nomination form will have a workflow associated with it and its own sets of fields and business rules.
  4. Workflow: Liferay workflow Definitions and instances will be created for managing the workflows associated with each nomination form that is created in the portal.
  5. Notification, Messaging, and Emails: To ensure that the business processes in the portal are both effective and efficient, the portal will send system and email notifications to the respective stakeholders. The portal will also have messaging capabilities associated with the nomination form to facilitate fund negotiations.
  6. Delegation: The user’s roles will be delegated by themselves, their managers, or Fund Compliance Support in the system. The system will have rules in place to manage the start and end of delegation.
  7. Dashboards: Each role in the portal will have a dashboard designed specifically for them to show the various KPIs associated with that role. This will provide a bird’s-eye view of how the nomination forms are progressing in the portal.
  8. Reports: The portal will have certain in-built reports based on inputs received from businesses, which will be used to drive processes both within and outside the portal.
  9. Portal Configuration: For the portal to work, master data setup along with schedulers (data updates from interfaces) and deadline notification setup will have to be done.
  10. User-Training, User Help Guide, FAQ, T&C, Contact Us: To ensure that the users are able to use the system, the portal will have user training tutorials, a user guide, and an FAQ. Users will be able to leverage these resources while using the portal. The portal will also create and manage agreements (contracts) created after the nomination form process is completed.
  11. Auditors: Users working for recovery agencies as well as from Boots internal audit teams will need access to the funding data to carry out audit activities. They will be provided read-only access to all funding data in the portal.

Key Features:

  1. The portal will use Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality integrated with the OneID Identity platform (IDP) to authenticate Boots and supplier users.
  2. Notifications and reminders mail for the Form.
  3. Liferay workflow Definitions and instances will be created for managing the workflows associated with each nomination form that is created in the portal
  4. In the system, the user’s duties will be assigned by themselves, their managers, or Fund Compliance Support. The system will include rules to control the start and end of delegation.
  5. Users from both recovery agencies and Boots’ internal audit teams will require access to the financing data in order to conduct out audit activities. They will have read-only access to all funding information in the site.
